Hi,

I installed dasBlog-2.1.8102.813 on my website,
then I make settings for Mail to blog,
I send email to this email but I can't see this post in my blog
Does this function works in version
dasBlog-2.1.8102.813 ?

It seems for me than emails doesn't process.
POP3 server, email and password is right.

Can anybody help me?

Thanks a lot?
Alexander.

Is the Port number different than the standard POP3 port, by any chance?

Hi Scott,

no, it's a standard 110 port.
I see than new version was released yesterday, will try with this new version and let know about my problem.

Alexander.

Alex dasBlog release 2.2 did not address anything to do with the e-mail to blog functions, or e-mail daily log functions.

Most of the time when the mail to blog function does not work, it is either a hosting environmental issue or your personal configuration.

Many ISP block different ports and you may not be able to use some dasBlog functions because of those policies.

Good Luck.

Thanks,
I asked my hosting to help me, but they can't find the problem.
I believe changing the hosting can help.
