We have a Virtual dedicated server with Godaddy.  I've Googled and read a number of threads about how people setup their DasBlogs on Godaddy but most of them appear to be for ASP.NET 1.1.

Is there clear documentation on how to setup DasBlog on Godaddy Virtual Dedicated Servers?
I have full access to the server, the server is setup in the PLesk ASP.net as a FULL TRUST environment, and all of the appropriate permissions are assigned to the required folders.

I can log in.
However I continue to this error whern trying to save a configuration settings change:

dasBlog Configuration Error

Summary

An error has been encountered while writing to your content folder. Most likely this error is caused by a configuration error on your server. Contact your hosting provider or check your permissions for

  • SiteConfig
  • content
  • logs

I am totally frustrated with this.. It simply wont work, yet I can setup dasblog on my local IIS6 servers in five minutes with no trouble at all.
I would really appreciate some advice on this one..

This is a dasBlog generated error notice, and it is telling you that you do not have IIS write/modify permission to the required folders.

I am running several dasBlog sites on Godaddy, so it’s not a Godaddy issue, it’s a configuration issue.

Good Luck

Did you install DasBlog through https://hostingconnection.godaddy.com/Application/dasBlog.aspx?  I used this method to install DasBlog on my website and it worked for me.  I suggest if you didn't do it this way, to do it through https://hostingconnection.godaddy.com/Application/dasBlog.aspx, even though you would need to sign in first.
