Why is it trying to install SQL Compact?

I'm using the web installer because the local script kept erring on line 24 of the script (/source directory not found), and the web installer is trying to install 15 SQL dependencies. Why? I thought DasBlog didn't use SQL. I already have SQL server installed on my machine (Full/licensed) and don't need compact with its heavy additional services slowing my machine on there for any reason.

I'm guessing it's doing this just for the installer to work? I was hoping so, but then I looked in the Web.config file for DasBlog and there is indeed a SQL connection string.

I looked all through the documentation and the blog and found no answers.

Can somebody tell me what this is for and why it is needed?

Which webinstaller is this? I'm not aware of a webinstaller.

You’re having an issue with the Microsoft “Web Platform Installer”, the configuration is wrong or a left over requirement from a prior application install with “Web Platform Installer”

The dasBlog install from “Web Platform Installer” does not install any SQL files and dasBlog does not need any SQL dependencies. It was designed that way and I have recently tested same.
