I cannot see admin bar after login in.
If I press on the hyperlink configuration I get an http 302 code and accessdenied for that request.
I running IE8 and have it on shared server in a subdirectory.  Didn't create directories throught "CreatedasBlogVdir". Just FTP-ed up the application.
(also uploaded it  after setting directories)
It's ASP.net 2.0 and  hosting support cannot see any problems with priviliges.
Any ideas!
Thanks

This is usually a bad edit of the "siteSecurity.config" file, or a bad theme setup.

If you have edited the security file check your xml format! If that appears ok then try this.

See if you can login successfully using the default "siteSecurity.config" file and a default theme??

If this does not fix it, then give us a whole lot more details.

Hi Tom,

I am having similar issue. I recently changed theme and now when i click on the configuration button i receive this error

"An error has been encountered while processing the page. We have logged the error condition and are working to correct the problem. We apologize for any inconvenience."

Any suggestion where i should start trouble shooting.

I have seen these exact symptoms before. It turned out to be bad user Javascript in the theme. IE is less tolerant of errors than FF.

To test, comment out all your JavaScript, Goggle code etc.

1. It would not log me in
2. It would not take a coment.
