This release was completely over complicated.

I needed a new blog for 3 of my sites. I walked through the instructions and it failed on these hosts. Winhost, DiscountASP.NET and Godaddy.

I'm a programmer so I quickly figured out what the problems were but if you have less than intermediate programming skills forget about getting this to work.

Reviewed: dasBlog 2.3 (2.3.9074.18820) (Mar 10, 2011)

Rated 1 Stars (out of 5) - I think that this release is not good. I have IIS 6 compatiability enabled on my local computer and I keep recieving an error saying that it is not enabled. I have decided to use another blog engine because of this.

Reviewed: dasBlog 2.3 (2.3.9074.18820) (May 01, 2010)

Rated 5 Stars (out of 5) - Thank you for your TIME which you spent for community !
It is really nice that on earth still exist some people which doing something for free!

Reviewed: dasBlog 2.3 (2.3.9074.18820) (Oct 29, 2009)

Rated 5 Stars (out of 5) - Does everything I need a blog to do!

Reviewed: dasBlog 2.3 (2.3.9074.18820) (Oct 10, 2009)

Rated 1 Stars (out of 5) - I wasted an hour of my life trying to get this application up and running. I rechecked each step of the setup/install instructions several times for accuracy, only to be met with a plethora of errors and permissions problems. I went through each line in the config files and verified every value, and I even tried testing using an AppPool running as local system - no luck. WordPress is much better.

Reviewed: dasBlog 2.3 (2.3.9074.18820) (Mar 26, 2009)

Rated 5 Stars (out of 5) - Upgrade was a breeze (except for a minor glitch that turned out to be my fault, never insert a non-breaking space into an XML node!!).

This version also fixed some weird IE/404 and FF/XML Parser errors I was getting!

Outstanding work once again by the DasBlog people :)
