Reviews for this release

Extremely easy to install - built on .NET MVC and is fast and reliable, works well with Live Writer. It's exactly what I need! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!

The previous versions (years older) were better. This release was completely over complicated. I needed a new blog for 3 of my sites. I walked through the instructions and it failed on these hosts. Winhost, DiscountASP.NET and Godaddy. I'm a programmer so I quickly figured out what the problems were but if you have less than intermediate programming skills forget about getting this to work.

I think that this release is not good. I have IIS 6 compatiability enabled on my local computer and I keep recieving an error saying that it is not enabled. I have decided to use another blog engine because of this.

I wasted an hour of my life trying to get this application up and running. I rechecked each step of the setup/install instructions several times for accuracy, only to be met with a plethora of errors and permissions problems. I went through each line in the config files and verified every value, and I even tried testing using an AppPool running as local system - no luck. WordPress is much better.

Upgrade was a breeze (except for a minor glitch that turned out to be my fault, never insert a non-breaking space into an XML node!!). This version also fixed some weird IE/404 and FF/XML Parser errors I was getting! Outstanding work once again by the DasBlog people :)
